Hi, I’m Aldona Vainius.
I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with unique experience working in two very different but complementary roles. In the emergency department, I provide psychiatric evaluations for individuals in crisis, helping them stabilize and find immediate support during some of their most vulnerable moments. While these encounters are brief, they are deeply meaningful, as they allow me to offer compassionate care when it is needed most.
In my outpatient practice, I take a different approach—developing longer-term therapeutic relationships where I offer therapy, prescribing, or a combination of both. This is where I walk alongside individuals as they get to know themselves more deeply, discover their strengths, and grow through the challenges they face. I specialize in working with adults navigating depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, PTSD, C-PTSD, and dissociation.
My philosophy is rooted in the belief that every person has the capacity to heal. I strive to create a safe, collaborative space where patients feel heard, supported, and empowered. My approach blends medication management with therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Supportive Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and a new innovative extremely effective modality called Quantum Therapeutix™ (QT).
With a foundation in psychology and nursing, and more than a decade of experience across inpatient and outpatient settings, I bring a compassionate, evidence-based approach to care. Fluent in Lithuanian and conversational in Spanish, I value inclusivity and cultural understanding in every interaction.
At the heart of my work is a commitment to helping people stabilize, heal, and ultimately reconnect with themselves—so they can not only manage symptoms, but truly thrive.
